Sheet Vinyl – Floor Coating.

Vinyl is one of the most common types of resilient commercial floors. Vinyl is softer and more flexible than other resilient commercial floors the material can be installed in tile or sheet form. Solid and multi-layer constructions are also available. When installed in sheets, welded seams are used to create a surface impervious to water penetration.

Often marketed as “no wax” commercial flooring that is an oversold and misleading description of sheet vinyl. Untreated no wax floors can accumulate dirt and surfactants and become difficult to clean. Acrylic finishes often do no bond or perform well on no-wax floors.
Durable Floors can recommend commercial coatings to reduce maintenance time and costs. One coat of Epic will enhance or even restore to the flooring to a “like new” status while maintaining the “no wax” nature that is desired.
